100 Gold Coins

Five pirates have obtained 100 gold coins and have to divide up the loot. The pirates are all very smart, treacherous and selfish (especially the Captain).

Usually captains propose how to divide the loot among the crew and then there is a voting. If the majority says “Aye”, the loot will be divided as it has been proposed, because none of the pirate will take their captain on without support of any superior force.

If the captain fails to get the support of at least half of his crew (including him), the pirates will mutiny and throw him overboard. The pirates start the carve-up again with the next senior pirate who becomes the captain.
